Diesel & Gas Engine Powered Services

Turner EPS’s Engine Powered Services division provides a range of engine servicing and spare parts for our franchised engine types: Waukesha, Detroit Diesel/MTU and Arrow engine products.  In addition our vast experience and skill set enables us to offer support and services relating to a wide range of engine types including, but not limited to: EMD, Caterpillar, Wartsila, Ruston, Bergen, MAN, Cummins, Deutz, Dorman etc.

Turner EPS has served the Oil & Gas, Power, Marine & Industrial (PMI) market for over 37 years working for the major players across both hemispheres.  Our global customer base from the North Sea, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Far East has gained us the experience necessary to deliver a fast, reliable and professional service.  Offering a 24 hour service, 365 days a year to support both onshore and offshore demands our multi-skilled Technicians and Service Engineers are trained and certified to full UKOOA and Pan European Standards.

Explosion Protection Systems

Turner EPS’s Explosion Protection Systems division has been supplying explosion protected diesel engines, diesel/electric MHE and components for a wide range of hazardous area applications since the late 1980's. 

We offer comprehensive conversions for Category 2G & 3G Equipment

with our 2G PAC® & 3G PAC® diesel engine passive protected equipment packages and 3G AIR® and AIR SAFE® active protection systems used with Mobile or Semi-Portable Equipment and with Vehicles and Battery Powered Forklift Trucks.

Turner EPS can provide a Make Safe technological solution for the ever increasing demand for assured certified equipment operating in potentially Hazardous Areas.

Incorporated in our 3G PAC® Engine Packages feature Exhaust Gas Cooling, Exhaust Flame Traps (Flame Arrestors) and Ex Rated Electrical Control & Safety Shutoff Systems.  Packages can also incorporate our 3G AIR® (Advanced Infra-Red) self-powered stand-alone fail-safe Gas Detection Systems.  All fully integrated with Diesel & Gas Engine Pump/Compressor Drivers, including Generating Sets, for a range of various makes of engines selected for their suitably and compatibility for Hazardous Area applications.

3G AIR® and AIR SAFE® are active protection infra-red gas detection systems for use with mobile/semi-portable equipment, vehicles and battery powered forklift trucks. 

Micro Turbines

Turner EPS are official distributors for Capstone Turbine Corporation for the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). 

As a European market leader, in the supply of bespoke power generation solutions for the Offshore Oil & Gas industry and Specialist Industrial & Marine markets, Turner EPS can now offer Capstone Micro Turbine technology as an alternative solution to traditional diesel engine powered packages across a wide spectrum of business applications including: Data Centres, Farm Digesters, Hotels, Hospitals, Large Retailers, Landfill, Office Buildings, Waste Water Plants and also Oil & Gas.

Advanced engineering and more than 100 patents put the Capstone MicroTurbines in a class of their own.  Capstone MicroTurbines have just one moving part, no gearbox or other mechanicals, and use no lubricants or hazardous materials, resulting in minimal maintenance while providing reliable, dependable performance. 

Turner EPS Capstone Micro Turbines solutions are scalable from 30kW to 10MW and can operate on Natural Gas, Propane, Landfill Gas, Digester Gas, Diesel, Aviation, and Kerosene fuels.   The C1000 Power Package, the world’s first megawatt Micro Turbine power system, can be configured into smaller 800kW and 600kW solutions – all within a single ISO-type container.
